    Hey there.

When you guys create titles for your work do you use the title program that built into premiere 6? Or do you use somthing else?

When ever I use it the titles or credits look very poor. So I only use them as a temp thing. I always end up using Photoshop or Max to creat nice looking titles but It seems odd that the premiere title program is so bad. Am I doing something wrong. Is it fine for you guys. HELP ME OUT.

Maybe the only way to have something look good is to make them your self. Im just being lazy

    Despin out.

I only ever use it for credit crawls -- plus mine came bundled with TitleDeko which I think is a slightly more advanced than the built-in one.

Chance likes the universal counting leader though, I think he's going to make a short film about it, maybe 10 seconds long ...

    Hey there.

So the built in title program is universaly thought of as crap. (well when I say universaly I mean you two guys).

I can get some nice looking titles with Photoshop and Max but its very time consuming.

I have a version of Title Deko from an old pinnical product I used to use ages ago. Is that the same thing? Or is it a new version you have?

    Despin out.

    sounds like the same thing.
Download the userguide (search for Title Deko on google), it is actually a lot easier to use than it seems.

    Good luck

Bought a Matrox RT2500 a couple of months back, upgrading from a DC30+. Now Title Dekko from the DC30+ dosent seem to like premier 6. Has anyone else had this problem and could shed a little light?

    Cheers

I also am of the opinion that whoever created the title maker in Premiere needs to be shot. Why the hell can't these people jusst rip off Imovie?

I am probabally going to want to shoot myself
    but.

If you have an animation program such as Amorphium.

Try creating your titles in it, exporting to VHS.

Then Re recording it back into your editing program from VHS as you would any other video clip.

If you have a chroma key function as in the one in VW3.
